MyCityFlat specializes in apartment rentals in central Paris, a perfect hotel alternative. MyCityFlat apartment rentals offers the lowest prices on the market. The idea is simple: the more you do, the less you pay.

What’s included in the price of an apartment rental ?

The price that you pay for a furnished apartment rental includes :

The check in at our office, from 2pm to 8pm.
Bed linens.
Bath linens and towels.
Consumption of gas, water and electricity (as long as your stay lasts less than one month).
Subscription fees for other utilities such as telephone, cable television and Internet (if available).
A welcome pack with coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
Assistance with reservations or other inquiries to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Complimentary Internet access and document retrieval services (facsimile, mail, etc.) in our offices.

When renting an apartment, what’s the difference between high season and low season ?

In order to give you the best competitive rates, My City Flat has established 3 rental periods:

High season: From April 1st to October 31st (except August) & December 23rd to January 3rd,
Peak season and showroom period : from January 20th till the 26th and from September 1st to the 8th,
Low season: From November to December 22nd & January 5th to march 31st & August.

During the showroom period, our peak season rates are 10% higher,

On the contrary, during the low season, our rates are approximately 20% lower,

In the event of a special offer, the discount can be up to 40%, on a selection of apartments.

So please do not hesitate to contact us as soon as possible and to ask us about the best rates we can offer.

When renting an apartment, how do I get reimbursed for the final cleaning costs ?

Before you leave the apartment that you’ve rented in Paris, you should :

Thoroughly clean the apartment
Un-make the beds, fold the sheets and place them on one of the beds
Empty the garbage and throw out any leftover food in the apartment
Vérifier que vous n’avez rien oublier dans l’appartement…

As soon as we’ve checked to make sure that everything has been taken care of in the apartment, we’ll reimburse you the cleaning fees. The fees will be credited directly to your credit card.

When renting an apartment, can one avoid paying the weekend supplement ?

If you arrive during the weekend, we strongly advise you to take advantage of our shuttle service. This is the easiest way to get into your apartment. And in that case, you will not have to pay a supplement for a weekend arrival.

The chauffeur will take you directly to the apartment and give you an envelope containing:

The keys to the apartment
A copy of the contract to sign and give back to the chauffeur
A credit card payment authorization to sign and give back to the chauffeur
You should keep your copy of the contract and your copies of the credit card receipts. The day before your arrival, we will have charged the remaining balance to your credit card.

When renting an apartment, why does MyCityFlat charge 2% credit card fees?

Most of our competitors ask their clients to pay the rent directly to the property owners. Unfortunately, property owners only accept payments in cash.

To avoid this situation, MyCityFlat gives you the opportunity to pay the rent by credit card. After depositing your payment, it’s up to us to pay the landlord.

Even though we don’t make money off of this rent, we still have to pay bank fees for it. So, in order to offer you the opportunity to pay by credit card, including the rent that you pay, we ask you to pay the 2% fees that the bank charges us.

On our commission, however, which corresponds to the initial deposit used to guarantee your reservation, there are no fees for paying with a credit card.
