Bliss Kfé

A small lesbian bar in the heart of the Marais, where boys are nevertheless welcome. This bar, with its softened atmosphere, arranges animated evenings with DJettes directing the ambiance. The atmosphere quickly gets hotter as the evening goes on, especially on the weekends, and above all in the basement, which its intimate dance floor and numerous clientele.

Blue book Paris

The unavoidable gay book store in the Marais. Blue Books Paris is a popular and cozy gay bookstore located in a pedestrian side street in the Marais/Beaubourg area, next to Pompidou center. A wide range of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs from all over the world are available. A host of readings, expositions and conferences are also held year-round.

Club 18

The oldest gay club in Paris! It remains, however, a frequented location for a younger and devoted clientele. The dance floor is rather small, but it does permit a corporal proximity that is not at all displeasing while you dance to a range of different sounds, from variety to electronica. An unpretentious place where the new staff and management are young and friendly, a fact which makes Club 18 a uniquely pleasant place to go out at night. On Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays it opens at 8:00 so you can go party early and not be late for work the next day!

La Scène-Bastille

A venue where two ambiances are offered, depending on the day. Live concerts are organized on certain evenings, while on others la Scène becomes a club. Recently renovated, it welcomes you among dark décor, lounge atmosphere and a dance floor. The location is not too large, which permits a closer conviviality among patrons. Le London

Le London is above all a discotheque: there is a bar, an underground dance floor, a disco ball, and diverse music, all of which make for a great night of frenzied rhythm. The place is frequented by the gay community. Underground, in a vaulted basement, you can also find a backroom which is rather active.

Le Loup Blanc

Very pleasant mixture of grills and world cooking. Nice and smilling service.From its original dishes (piri piri chicken or pineapple shrimp) to its agreeable ambiance, this small, local restaurant is worth a try. Prices are reasonable and one is sure to eat well.

Le Mixer Bar

This mixer has a mixed clientele with a diversity of sexual orientations, although many gays show up here (the Marais makes sure of that!) Techno music is provided by DJs, to the great pleasure of clubbers who are getting ready to go out.

Le Pulp

An establishment principally for the ladies, who are young and outgoing. Just steps from the Rex Club, the entrance to the pulp is recognizable by its large neon marquee. The music is more and more appreciated by the partygoers who converge en masse at the entrance. Soirees on Wednesday and Thursday nights are free for everyone, and it must be said that “boys even like to come here”! Other days are reserved for ladies. Le Sofa

A restaurant-bar frequented by the ladies, which is a veritable invitation for a voyage to a far-off land. Sitting comfortably on sofas, patrons can savor a delicious cocktail in a felted (yes, felt everywhere) and cozy atmosphere.

After l’amnésia and le club by (pure), the team which runs Queen has opened the Mix club. This club aims to attract all of the hippest contemporary DJs, including Antoine Clamaran and others. It offers numerous events for students (such as Erasmus, which occurs every Thursday but is a largely hetero crowd) and gays (the “tea-dance” is 100% male on Sundays). Although large, it fills quickly.

My Cayito

This Cuban “little island” (what “mi cayito” means in Spanish) offers exotically-inspired cuisine. This restaurant romanticizes the Caribbean voyage with its unique dishes and warm atmosphere. A real treat for the taste buds!

Oh ! Fada

A new bar reminiscent of the gay scene in Marseille. The idea is original and pleasing—the space is decorated in the colors of the south. A convivial ambiance awaits you inside, where on the ground floor there is a dance area and a DJ spinning.

Connoisseurs are rarely disappointed. The ambiance is highly charged. The clientele is largely male, though not always gay. The staff is pleasant.
